updated 3/10/25 with presentation and meeting recording.
The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) is hosting a discussion about coastal climate change and our requesting your feedback on the progress and approach of the Massachusetts ResilientCoasts Plan. The plan will provide a comprehensive, state-wide strategy for coastal resilience in the Commonwealth.
Your input is critical for helping shape the Plan, which will guide policy and management actions to improve health and safety, protect and enhance natural and cultural resources, prepare our infrastructure for climate change, strengthen our coastal economy, advance equity and environmental justice, and support the capacity of coastal communities.
Please join one of these conversations, which will be held on Zoom:
- March 3, 6-7:30 PM
- March 4, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

There will also be an update on the ResilientCoasts Plan, a release of draft Near-term Adaptation Areas, and an opportunity to give input on coastwide strategies. Let CZM know what a resilient coast would looks like and what is necessary to get there.
CZM will also be holding another round of ResilientCoasts office hours to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to speak with CZM staff about the planning process and materials presented at the public meetings, ask questions, and share feedback. See the links below to register:
