Wormwood Park Closure For Repairs Starting Monday

A Ship Lighting, An Amphitheater, Paperclips, A Yeti, A Trolley & More Are Coming Your Way

What do a ship lighting, an amphitheater, paperclips, a yeti and a trolley have in common? They are all happening in, around and about our neighborhood. 

This Saturday (11/30) is the 4th annual Lighting of the Ship at Martin’s Park from 4pm to 6pm. Don't miss Santa's arrival by boat from the Fort Point Channel with the help of the Boston  Harbor Police Unit.

It’s Time For A Boston Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study Update

Attend a City of Boston and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study Update Information Sessions, to discover how South Boston's Coastal Resilience (Climate Ready) priority long term coastal resilience recommendations are integrated into the study. The feasibility study is a long term, comprehensive effort and the City anticipates it will be complete in the Spring of 2028. Starting next year, the Study will begin to explore those approaches and recommended solutions for public feedback.  

In advance of those conversations, USACE and the City is hosting a set of sessions to provide context for the work ahead.  During these three sessions, USACE and the City will focus on sharing information on this Study’s goals, timeline, and deliverables, providing space for comments and questions.
