Twenty women artists from different parts of the world are coming together to inspire and raise awareness of the importance of planting native plants for biodiversity.
The artists' works are inspired by the ecosystems of their homeland or where they call home. This exciting collective effort focuses on social, mental and environmental ecology which connects human health to environmental and planetary health. This increases emotional resilience and adaptation to a healthier Earth which links human and species’ rights. The aim of the artists is to create empathy and understanding for biodiversity fatigue through intercultural engagement and for the impact of society on diminishing pollinators.
Participating Artists: Violeta Vollmer, Consuelo Vallejo Delgado, Adriana G. Prat, Hebé García, Julia Csekö, Naoe Suzuki, Verónica Parselis (Verute), Carmen Mojica Martínez, Fulgen Sabatier, Haley Johnson, Jesseca Ferguson, Jacqueline Herranz Brooks, Helen Papp, Megan MacDonell, Liliana Folta, JAYPIX, Souther, Tina Chakarian, Kathleen Bitetti and Olga Shmuylovich.

The theme of the Runway Show is driven by the need to highlight the causes of racial and environmental injustice and to encourage communication and participation from all over Greater Boston, especially from the underserved areas of our city.
We encourage breaking down barriers between different races, cultures, and genders as well as showcasing emerging and professional designers and models. Come discover how designers’ creativity bring these issues to life through performance, art and design.
Participating Designers: Michaela Colvin, Dawna Davis, Mario Avila Design, Sara Doyle, Nathan Evans, Gulnara Niaz, Consuelo Perez, Sharisse Scott-Rawlins, Eileen Ryan, Caitlin Redington, Charlie Dov Schon, Ayzit Tashkin, Cassandre Tercina, Rebecca McGee Tuck and Alpha Wurie.
The event is free to the public and is in support of two Boston nonprofit organizations: Haley House and SPOKE Art.
