Fort Point Named Boston's Best
The Improper Bostonian's 2014 Boston's Best recognizes Fort Point as best revitalized neighborhood. The Improper speaks to the neighborhood's newly found draw as a dining destination, but quickly points out that Fort Point retains its identity with the presence of our artists and our historic landmarks that make Fort Point in their words "quirky and cool". Thank you neighbors for your civic engagement which helps shepherd our identity and thank you Improper Bostonian for the accolade.

Waiting for a Grocery Store, Fort Point?
If you are still wishing for the day a grocery store opens in Fort Point, you are not alone. The top amenity Fort Point residents want is a grocery store according to the Fort Point Neighborhood Associations's January 2014 survey.
While Whole Foods is coming to Ink Block in SOWA and Roche Brothers is coming to Downtown Crossing, where is Trader Joe's? One Fort Point resident is asking neighbors to contact Trader Joe's and suggest our dynamic neighborhood as the perfect new store location. According to a Trader Joe's representative "While we don't have any immediate plans to open a Trader Joe's in your area, ...what you can do is fill out a "location request form" via our website - those help, too, as we tally them regularly. The web address to this form is:
