Farnsworth Street will be closed from Congress Street to the rear of the Boston Fire Museum on Friday June 13, 2014 from 2 pm to 9 pm. Alternate vehicle access to Congress Street will be made available. Also, there will be restricted parking on Congress Street from 2 pm - 9 pm to allow Fire Department apparatus easy access.
The Boston Sparks Association, Inc., owner and curator/operator of the Boston Fire Museum, also provides Rehab/Fire ground support services to the Boston Fire Department and member departments of Metro Fire.
This year, the Boston Sparks will be hosting their Annual Cookout on the 13th. The theme this year is to thank other area Rehab/Canteen Services who supported the BSA during the Line of Duty Funerals in April for fallen Boston firefighters Walsh and Kennedy.
The following will be Special Guests to the BSA Annual Cookout; Providence Canteen, Worcester Canteen, Salvation Army, and Rehab 5.
If anybody has any questions or concerns, they can contact the Boston Fire Museum @ 617-338-9700 and leave a message. A representative from the BSA will contact them.
