As many Fort Pointers have found out the hard way, the meters on Massport-controlled streets in the Seaport (Seaport Blvd, Congress as it gets towards the service road, D Street, ...) are on their own schedule which is different from Boston's and operates 7 days a week, including Sundays and holidays.
Starting September 1st, they will follow the same schedule as meters in Boston:
The new policy states that meters shall be effective from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and that there shall be no charge for parking at Massport spaces with meters on Sundays; legal holidays as determined by the City of Boston; and days on which the Mayor of the City of Boston declares free parking at City-operated meters, usually on the Saturdays between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.
