The "Meet the Candidates" event last Sunday at the Fire Museum was well-attended and had a good, lively discussion among the candidates on issues such as artist displacement concerns, BRA processes, parking, and other important matters affecting the neighborhood.
Significantly, this was Fort Point's first-ever City Council forum. Volunteers from across the neighborhood made it work.
The City Council District 2 preliminary election is coming up on April 17th, with the final on May 15th. Make sure you get out and vote!
